Hello Iron On Labels; Goodbye Lost Clothing
Posted by Agata k on
Walk down the aisles of any supermarket or high street retailer and you’re sure to find a household essential in most UK homes – an iron, used to press wrinkles out of clothes. However, these days, your iron has another important use; it’s how you attach your iron on clothing labels, beautifully printed and personalised to your requirements by Labels4school.
Easy Online Shopping for Iron On Labels
You won’t find our iron on labels in a shop, but they’re even easier to order directly from our labelling experts at Labels4School, without leaving home. Simply make your personalised selection and complete your payment online.
Minimal Average Lead Time
As soon as your payment has been processed, printing and personalisation take just a few working days, and your perfectly personalised iron on clothing labels are ready for dispatch. During busy back-to-school periods, please allow 5 to 8 working days for processing and printing. During quieter times of the year, production typically takes around 1 to 3 working days.
Two Delivery Options
Choose one of two delivery methods to receive your iron on clothing labels – direct delivery to your door or via Pargo Click & Collect. Delivery to more remote areas may take an additional 2 to 5 working days. Similar timeframes may apply to outlying Pargo collection points.
Iron On Guide
Attaching our iron on clothing labels is simple, quick and straightforward, provided you follow our basic instructions carefully:
Iron labels onto garment care tags after turning the clothing inside out. Peel and position the label on the tag, ensuring you place a thin piece of fabric or baking parchment over the label. Never iron directly onto the label.
Use a dry iron on a medium heat setting with no steam. Hold the iron firmly in place and apply steady pressure for 20 to 30 seconds, then allow the label to cool. Repeat this process 2 to 4 times, or more if needed.
Check that the label is securely attached. For garments that may be washed frequently or in harsher conditions, you can add a small stitch or two for extra security, or consider an alternative labelling option.
No Embroidery on School Uniforms
Embroidery is another way to label clothing, but for school uniforms it is not always practical. Some UK schools have strict uniform policies and may not allow visible stitching or additional markings that are not part of the official uniform.
Personalise to Avoid Lost Property
Use Labels4School’s iron on labels to personalise shirts, blouses, trousers, shorts, underwear, skirts, blazers, tracksuits, jumpers, jackets, hats and scarves – anything with a garment care tag. It’s simple and affordable. Visit our website and say goodbye to lost property.
