Iron-On Clothing Labels

For parents who prefer a permanent finish, our iron-on name labels bond securely to cotton garments and uniforms.
Available in blue or pink text, they look crisp and professional on any fabric.
Once applied, these iron-on labels for clothes stay in place through countless washes — perfect for school uniforms, sports kits, and nursery clothing.

Our school uniform labels and uniform name tags are trusted by thousands of parents for one reason — they work. No peeling, no fading, and no lost clothes.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I need to sew clothing labels on?

No sewing is needed for our stick-on clothing labels (also called Clothing Tag Buddies). They simply press onto the garment’s care tag and stay put through regular washing and wearing.

Our iron-on clothing labels don’t require sewing either, but if you’d like an extra-strong hold — for example, when items are washed in industrial or commercial machines — you can sew around the edge once they’ve been ironed on. This keeps them firmly in place even under high-temperature cycles.

Both types are made to last and are ideal for school uniforms, kids’ clothes, and workwear.

How do I iron name tags on clothes?

Applying our iron-on name tags is quick and simple. Follow these steps for the best, long-lasting results:

  1. Wash and dry the clothing first. Make sure the fabric is completely clean and dry.
  2. Use a dry iron. Remove all water from the iron and ensure the steam setting is off.
  3. Set to medium heat and turn the clothing inside out.
  4. Position the label. Peel and place the name tag text-side up on the fabric, then cover it with baking or parchment paper.
  5. Apply firm pressure for 20–30 seconds without moving the iron around.
  6. Let it cool for 20–40 seconds.
  7. Repeat steps 5–6 two to four times to ensure a strong, permanent bond.

Once attached, the iron-on name tag will stay secure through countless washes and wears

What’s the difference between iron-on and stick-on clothing labels?

Our iron-on clothing labels bond directly to fabric for a permanent finish — perfect for cotton garments, school uniforms, and workwear. They’re available in blue or pink text and can even be sewn around the edges for extra durability if items are washed in industrial machines.

Our stick-on clothing labels (also called Clothing Tag Buddies) come in two full-colour options — Designer Themes and Customise Your Own — and must be applied to the care tag of the garment, not directly onto fabric. They press on easily, need no ironing, and stay firmly in place through regular washing and wearing.

Both types are durable, waterproof, and made to keep kids’ clothes and school uniforms clearly labelled and easy to identify.
